PaceMindRunning LLC ("PaceMindRunning," "PMR," "we," "us," or "our") operates the PaceMindRunning training application and website (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.
If you have questions, contact us at pacemindrunning@gmail.com.
Information you give us. When you create an account and set up a training plan, we collect:
Payment information. We offer a subscription with a free trial, after which a recurring fee applies. Payments are processed by our third-party payment processor, Stripe. We do not collect or store your full credit or debit card numbers on our systems. Stripe handles that information under its own privacy policy (https://stripe.com/privacy). We receive limited billing details such as subscription status and the fact that a payment succeeded or failed.
Where your account and training data are stored. Your account, training plan, paces, and logged runs are stored in a database hosted by our database provider, Supabase, on our behalf. They store this information so we can provide the Service and do not use it for their own purposes. Supabase handles it under its own privacy policy (https://supabase.com/privacy).
Information collected automatically. Like most online services, we may automatically receive basic technical information such as device type, browser, and general usage of the Service. We use this to operate and improve the Service.
Site analytics. We use two analytics tools, each for a different job. Plausible measures site traffic โ how many people visit and which pages they view. It does not use cookies, does not collect personal information, and does not track you across other websites; it records aggregate information such as the page you viewed, the site that referred you, your general location (country, derived from your IP address), and your device and browser type; your IP address itself is not stored, and we cannot identify you individually from this data. PostHog measures product usage inside the app โ for example, which step of account setup a runner reaches and whether a signup succeeded. It is limited to a small, fixed set of named events and never records free text you type, your name, or your email address. PostHog does not use cookies, but it does store a randomly generated identifier in your browser's local storage โ a technology similar to a cookie โ so that these events can be connected to the same visit; this identifier carries no personal information on its own, is confined to pacemindrunning.com, and disappears if you clear your browser's site data. We have configured PostHog to discard your IP address before anything is stored, so โ the same as with Plausible โ it is never retained with your events. Plausible and PostHog each handle this information under their own privacy policies (https://plausible.io/privacy, https://posthog.com/privacy).
Error diagnostics. When something goes wrong in the app, we send a diagnostic report to our error-monitoring provider, Sentry, so we can find and fix it. A report contains the error message and the technical stack trace, the page it happened on, and your browser and operating system. We automatically remove account identifiers, email addresses, and web-address parameters from these reports before they are sent, and we have configured Sentry not to store your IP address. We do not attach your identity to these reports, and they do not include your training plan, paces, or logged runs. Sentry handles this information under its own privacy policy (https://sentry.io/privacy/).
Session replay. When something goes wrong, we may also record a short, silent playback of your visit — the layout of the page and the actions you took, such as taps and scrolls — so we can reproduce the problem and fix it, rather than guessing from an error message alone. It is not video, and there is no sound, camera, or microphone access. Text on the page and anything you type into a form is masked in your browser before the recording is sent, so a replay shows that a field was filled in, not what it contained. You never enter card details on our site — payment happens on Stripe’s own checkout page, which we do not record. We do not use performance tracing or log collection.
We use your information to:
Your training inputs are used to calculate your plan. We do not sell your personal information.
We share information only as needed to run the Service:
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
We keep your account and training information for as long as your account is active. If you cancel and ask us to delete your account, we will delete your personal information within a reasonable period, except where we must retain certain records (for example, basic billing records) to comply with law.
The Service is for adults. It is not directed to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that an account belongs to someone under 18, we remove the account and the data associated with it. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us information, contact us at pacemindrunning@gmail.com and we will remove it.
We take reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Policy.
